Dear List,

I recently bought the Yamaha CRW FIE firewire 44 write speed with
the eight meg cache from OWC in their case. It burns data fine at the 44
speed but it can't do the Recording of music from disks at that speed
without extracting files as AIFF and burning them to a firewire disk first
and the back to the Yamaha. Although I can test for the speed of the Disk
at Once, I can't adjust it to a lower speed with the Toast Lite that came
with the drive.I have a Powrlogix G-3 clocked to about 300 and 175 meg of
ram. I notice the Yamaha Disk T@2 which is supposed to burn an image on the
disk was not included in the package. Is this a separate application? Is
there any way to get hold of it.
What exactly does the box CD text mean in Toast Lite? I don't see
any text on the disk? Does connecting to the internet and getting the
titles of the disk, get this information burned to the disk, or is it just
a convenience?

        Mark
