I think I'm still waiting for the whole story ;-) But thank you for 
your chapter. You didn't mention the Russian coder that changed the 
flasher so it would work. I'm also wondering about the fact the card 
has to be flashed to a generic MAC Rom in a PC before using the MAC Rom 
updater. If the flasher doesn't check for the pc sig why is this step 
needed? Was your chapter on the german site? I've not read all the 
german stuff....

well Circuit City has a nice web site even offered to do a hold on the 
video card so it would be waiting for me. Got to the store it's an AGP 
card not PCI. So much for helpful chain stores. They don't even have 
the one I wanted even though the website listed it.. No one local seems 
to at least the large places where it would be easy to return. CompUSA 
I found also has House brand Video cards with the ATI chip on board 
logo but not the one I was looking for. I guess I'll have to order the 
Sapphire bargain card.
