Hal, I've been running my C500 without a battery for over a year now (maybe going on two?!?). It's annoying since I have to manually change the time and date each start up (I've put an alias to the Date&Time control panel in my Start Up folder). There may be other issues, but nothing else seems to go wrong with my computer. Eric P.S. Yes, I know I should change the battery, but I never seem to remember to buy one when I'm at my local Radio Shack and even if I did have one I'd have a long day's job of cleaning off my desk enough to find the space to open up the case anyway... -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
