I went to your page, and then on to the Apple CD Hack stuff. I DL'ed the
Apple Universal
set. What I found was that the set works on my C500, but only if I use the
CD ROM extension
version 5.3.1, NOT the 5.3.2. 

Bear in mind the whole of the existing extensions, including FWB, were saved
to a folder on the
desktop. I get the "ugly" CD ROM icon for my troubles, but it works.
