Hi all

I just downloaded Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and used its installer to put it on
my J700 with OS 8.6 and 160MB RAM. I rebooted the computer, and upon
trying to launch Acrobat Reader from within a program such as Netscape,
or all by itself from its icon, I get an error like 'Acrobat Reader 5.0
has unexpectedly quit because an unexpected error occured' which is a
famous Mac error message in terms of why I hated the Mac for so long :-(

I chose the 8.6 OS version for download from their site, but I notice a
whole bunch of carbonlib extensions being installed in my folder-is that
right? I thought Carbon was for 9.x only? Any help is much
appreciated..

Thanks

Bolton
