Don't launch Reader. There are plugins for Acrobat that need to be
properly installed for both Netscape and Interent Explorer when you
install Acrobat I think, so that when you open a PDF file while you
are in Netscape or IE, then Adobe Acrobat will launch itself. Please
note that it will not be Reader that will launch, it will be Acrobat.
I would venture that your problem is that either both are trying to
launch at the same time and there is a conflict or the computer
doesn't like having Reader launch before it knows what file you want
opened. Had similar problems and just trashed Reader. No more
problems. I have one Carbon lib in my extensions folder so far as I
know. it is version 1.4 a bit over 3 MB. No idea what it is for. User
not tech.
