You can use a PCI ethernet card just fine in the C600. The problem is more than likely that the guy installed a PC ethernet card instead of a Mac compatible. That or he forgot to load the drivers. I've never heard of OvisLink.
Using a CommSlot card just frees up your PCI slot. If you ever got around to installing a Firewire card and a USB card, those slots become precious. -Robyn On Sunday, February 23, 2003, at 09:08 AM, Jeffrey W.
