The new G4's won't boot into OS9, but the older machines have no such 
problem. I can switch between 10.2.4 and OS9 without major incident. I 
did have a similar problem way back with 10.1.5, I don't know how I 
fixed it. Mostly involved dancing around in my underwear wearing a 
tiara............Uh, I wish I hadn't gotten that visual...eeeeesh :P
