I'm not sure what the question is? If your asking will installing OS 10.2.4 keep your machine from booting into OS 9. The answer is no. OS 10.2.4 is a nice upgrade on our machines go for it. I don't think there are any new features. It does however run and boot more reliably on our machines. It is unknown at this time what Apple is going to do to stop machines from booting into OS 9. Hardware or software issue is unknown. My guess is the hackers will have it booting in about a week or so ;-) I know Apple wants to stop supporting OS 9. However even new Pc's will run every version of Dos and Windozes ever make. This is a dumb move on Apples part in my opinion.
