A small thing, perhaps, but not to me: Verbatim disks seem to hang onto the labels I made for them better than the spindle of TDK disks I bought at discount. I like to make compilation CDs to use in my car and/or portable diskman player. The labels don't adhere to the TDK, and I've learned not to insert them into the car disk player.
