Steve sorry this is such a pain. A clue has been found. Unlike other cards the Sapphire 32mb card even though it is the same part number different cards use different memory chips which have different speeds this seems to be the trouble perhaps. I am going to send you a new ROM file and some info which may help! Will S
I assure you I'm not worried Will. As I said yesterday, my son will use the card in his PC if I can't make it work. This is one he built himself and put a cheap vid card in at the time. The card should be a considerable improvement. Besides, I've ben reading the posts from the German group myself (someone posted the url) and I realize this is a work in progress. I gather this card poses some special challenges. I've bookmarked the forum so you needn't send me other things to try, although once I get it to work or give up, if you are a regular there, I'd appreciate knowing about any improvements or updates.
