Anyway, as a suggestion, sometimes it's easiest to remove/reseat everything and then start troubleshooting when that fails. First thing to remove/reseat might be the cables/ribbons for the HD if you haven't done that already. If you are not making it at least to the smiley face or the blinking question mark, it may not be finding the drive. A blank white screen, in my experience, has never been a sign of permanent doom.
