You can modify DiskTools to include cdrom support by putting a driver 
extension in the ext folder on the floppy. I used the toast reader ext 
3.5.7 - I can't remember what I had to remove to make it fit. BUT, then 
you have access to whatever you've got on cd.

pull all cards except video
put one hd and one cdrom on internal bus - terminate the last device on 
the chain
boot from modified floppy - use software from cd to initialize hd
install os of choice
add cards as desired/needed - *one at a time*
when it breaks - report to list, lots of accumulated experience
naked voodoo cuda ritual?????

FWIW: ran a raid off of an e100 under 9.2.2 using jackhammer firmware - 
can't use the enet portion of the card then .....
