I do believe the C500 and C600 discs are the same. My C500 came with system 7.6.1, but after I scratched my disc, I called and for the mere price of $8, I was sent a new system disc, it was 8.0. No idea why, but it came with all of the necessary extra extensions, so I was happy. I would also be happy to make a copy for you. I also have the original Applications disc if you need it.
