It is true that Umax only sold the cache Doubler card with some 240 and 
all 280 mhz 603e Zif  models. However any of the 603e ZIf cpu's will 
run faster with the cache Doubler and someone could have added one . So 
if you bought the machine second hand who knows! Apple system profiler 
found under the apple top left of screen may well give you the info you 
need. If your machine is running cache doubler card it should show both 
80 mhz bus and 1 mb of L2 backside cache. Any other numbers for these 
two things should mean no cache doubler card. I say should because 
different versions of system profiler give different info.  Will S
