Saw a hack on TechTV about using 3rd party 802.11g cards for use in a standard PCI slot or Powerbook slot. This is a hack to use the Apple Airport Extreme driver for 3rd party cards. Requires Jag-wire and an Airport Extreme base station. Looking over the instructions at OSXHax, this can be rewarding but not for the feint of heart.
