Yes, I did leave the 10baseT in, as it's on the same card that has the 
serial ports for the machine on it. I did however, disable the built in 
network port in the network settings in OS X, and it doesn't seem to 
make a difference. Is taking that card out of the J700 something that 
would be easy and/or smart to do?
