Hi Greg G

No only when your computer crashes or when you boot up VPC5 and the cd or
floppy don't show up. I've tried tons of different things and that's the
only way I could beat the problem. It's very annoying but at least it works.
If this doesn't work let me know exactly what your doing and maybe I could
help. It should work. If it doesn't work try the process over again.
Sometimes it doesn't work the 1st time for me either. 99% of the time it
does work. Let me know. By the way i've only been able to get this to work
with a 8.5 system disc. I've tried 9.0 and it didn't work.

Hope this helps
Scott

Will give it a try but it seems a very unusual approach. Does this have
to be done everytime you want to start VPC 5? Or just the first time?

Thanks for the info,
Greg G
