Well I tried it here using both known good WD and a Seagate drives that I formatted on this machine which work normally when connected to the IDE card. So the drives are fine. Good question on what I used to format but I'm pretty certain it was 9.1 Drive Setup. What type of formatting would you suggest? > > Did you make sure it's set to the Master setting?
