(Thanks Sybil for your kind words.)

I did test all of the memory in my S900, one module at a time. I ran
gauge pro on each one, considering one thousand passes without an error
as indicating a good module. I was able to identify 2 modules that
produced errors. One module was in really bad shape, popping errors
every few passes. The other one gave error messages every few hundred
passes. All the other modules went at least a thousand passes with no
errors. Then I installed all of the "good" modules and ran gauge pro on
them together for 6,500 passes with no errors, which satisfied me as
error free.

I would like to replace the two bad 128 mb. modules that I got from
Velocity Upgrades a year ago. The modules were from different batches
and have a different number of chips on board. I thoroughly tested
these modules when I got them and they were good at the time. Something
happened during the year to cause them to go bad. I have no idea what.

I haven't even thought about buying memory for the past year, and I'm
wondering if anyone can point me to a good deal on memory these days.
Did I read something here in the past few days about using PC memory
modules in the S900? Or were people talking about some other computer?

Thanks,
Bob Robeson
