Mozilla and Netscape are from the same codebase - on that note try:

Edit>Preferences>Privacy and Security>SSL>warn when sending form data 
from an unencrypted page to an unencrypted page

I'm assuming it pops up when you submit the login form. If you uncheck 
this button, it will stop this behaviour.
