Thank's for responding, I went back to the "Archive" threads to look at all the discussion on the Adaptec firmware/rom thing and I guess I can conclude that I'm wasting my time here. I hate defeat! I have 2 of these cards that I utilized years ago and I hoped with the added improvements to OSX that there might be some hope for the 2930. Jeff, the VST UltraTech is the card I have installed (or the ATA100) This "experiment" was only intended to give me another option....
