Jacqueline -

Ideally, you should try to boot from the disk.
Attempting this with the built-in CD drive probably won't work if you
have the Matshita drive.
Not sure why you can't even read the disc - is this a duplicate or the
original DiskWarrior CD ?
Are you able to read other CDs ?
If there is any way possible for you to find/borrow an external SCSI CD
device, that would be dandy.
