hi,

this may be way redundant for some of you, but I desparately need your help. I bought
a S900 with no hard drive. When I install one, the correct one(50 pin scsi), the
machine will not recognize it. Further more, I now can not get the cd rom to be
regonized. Only way to get anything is to attach a scsi external cd rom and boot from
that. All cable are connected and snug. What am I doing wrong. Does this have
something to do with where things fall on the scsi chain?

many thanks
