I was just reading something last night (don't remember which magazine, maybe the current issue of MacWorld) about the newest version of Norton AntiVirus being able to scan for and remove a PC virus from a Mac. Details from Symantec's web site are here:

I suspect your encounter with Klez (along with countless others) is probably what made them realize we need that kind of cross platform virus removal capabilities.

I plan to upgrade to the new version just for that feature.
