Nope, Safari is straight Jaguar. It is a full Cocoa app, not Carbon and
pulls on some Jaguar specific stuff. It won't even work if you have
10.1.5.

It is an excellent broswer though, stable and very fast, it has a common
enough feature set, but I expect it will become quite a contender once
Apple gets it out of beta.
