I did this repair and it was easy. It was not on a S900, but I think replacing the PS is pretty much the same on any computer. Someone jump in if that is not true. :o) This is what I did: Make sure that everthing is unplugged. Get a screwdriver, paper and pencil (for notes). Open the case. See how the old power supply connects and make a note of what goes where. Remove the old PS with the screwdriver. Make sure the new power supply voltage settings are correct.
