ATM really only benefits Type 1 fonts for viewing and printing those fonts
at all sizes. In later versions it did an admirable job of organizing font
collections as well.

In OS X it's questionable whether it's even required. For font organizing
purposes in OS X, Suitcase or FontAgent are way better choices. Both are so
good, and getting better all the time, that you just know Adobe won't bother
porting ATM over to OS X. But never say never.

I realize I'm a bit jaded concerning ATM, and in it's latest incarnations it
was/is a good application. But way back when, it caused so many problems and
conflicts, that it gained a bad reputation. Part of troubleshooting back
then almost always included the question, "do you have ATM installed?".

But I realize I exaggerate sometimes. =)
