In this case? Heh heh, oh okay, I fumble along, I know it.  =)

You're right about the extra tongue, and the loss of ethernet in any other
slot but slot 1. The whole time I used an E100 I never bothered with the
ethernet. I guess because broadband doesn't seem to benefit from 100baseT
over 10baseT. I recall few discussions here about the ethernet portion of
that card. It seems as though many just used it as a SCSI card.

Truth is, I got a SCSI 101 course from Jeff Walther quite a while back and
still remember it, despite not using SCSI much at all anymore. Jeff is a
wonderful addition to any computer forum, and has been a joy here on the SM
List.
