From: Tony Gamble <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> sometimes (moreso since I moved the card and removed old monitor-related pref's) the machine will boot into a horribly lime-green tinted screen, which shows up in the Twin Turbo CP as "Sync on Green".
I remember seeing this also, when I was using a Twin Turbo card. I don't really recall what I did to fix it though. I think I switched monitors. I always have several around, and one worked consistently while the other would sometimes "go green", like you are seeing. If you have another monitor handy, it's worth a try.
Also, when I switched video cards, the problem went away entirely. I switched to a ix3D ultimate rez card, because it gave better results with OS X than the Twin Turbo did.
