(Unless the PRAM gets zapped and I have to reset things.) This is irregardless of the slot position and I've always kept them in the lower slots in the S900. I've been using these cards since late 1998 starting with OS 8 and currently use 9.1. However, the UltimateRez card has given me PCI card loading hangups during bootup once in a blue moon. Removing it and installing the TwinTurbo makes the problem go away and then I reintsall the UltimateRez card and everything's back to normal. Several months ago I stopped using the UltimateRez card, making do with the TwinTurbo with no noticeable difference in performance for most things I do.
