You have to use XpostFacto to install on the S900. That's the only trick. I guess you know that since you mention XpostFacto. Just making sure:-) You shouldn't have any problems. I would first use maybe DiskWarrior or your favorite disk utility to see the health of the system. DW should harm X if you have it. Who knows, that might solve a lot of problems. Good luck.

To what Eric said about first trying DiskWarrior, I would add this: When you run XPostFacto with the Jaguar install CD, you have the option via a menu pulldown to run Disk Utility. I would also try that. If you are able to recover the volume, then when you do the install, you can run in "archive and restore" mode. That way you overwrite all the system stuff, but preserve any applications and data that were on the volume. Good luck.
