The Umax I bought from them a year or so back was indeed brand new and I guess was put together from spare parts. I had no problem with them at all. I did have a problem with the video but since it wasn't clear which component was at fault I decided that it would be quicker and easier to track it down myself than send the whole lot back with possibly no problem found (it was the video card).
