I have a suggestion.

Turn off Virtual Memory.
Also, allocate more then the default amount of memory for your downloaded IE
and try again.
Make sure you quit Netscape first.
Currently I am running IE 5.1.6 with 63mb allocated, but around 50 should be
enough.
