I had the same problem. After I intentionally flashed the card with the latest software the machine would not boot up no matter what I did so I couldn't even re-flash it. I had an Atto SW single channel card that worked well thru 9.2.2 but cannot be seen in Jaguar even after I flashed it with software to make it compatible with X.
I guess the only help this note can bring you is don't go for an Atto card either. Others on this list can tell you what works well with X. One solution is go for an IDE card. I have an ACARD AHARD PCI Ultra ATA/66 card with a WD Caviar ATA 80GB drive connected to it internally. Works great with Jaguar.
