What does Apple System Profiler show for the manufacturer id on the card? That will show you what drive you need. (What I've done before is find the ID and do a Google search for just that.)

I have a c600 with a G3 280 and 80MB RAM running OS 9.1 that I am
getting ready to donate to a school group that mainly needs it for a
DSL connection.

It has an included ethernet card (10 baseT) that shows up under the
system profiler. However the lights on back do not light up nor can I
get onto our network. I installed the Asante NIC driver that I found on
the original SuperMac OS 8.1 CD. Do I need a more current driver than
that and if so, where would I find one? The only ones I could find at
the Asante web site are for 10/100 cards.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have already spent more time on
this than I wanted to.

Thanks,
Sara
