what is this a printing epidemic! My story is... I was on the net, & told the printer to print a page. I went on with my search & didn't pay attention, until I noticed it shouldn't still be printing, so I looked at the sheets & they were all blank, so about that time, it quit printing. i thought everything was fine. Then when i told it to print again, something different, it came up with: "The document --- failed to print on the printer Laserwriter 4/600ps because the requested printer could not be found." So, I went to the chooser clicked on the Laserwriter 8 icon, then under "select a postscript printer" NOTHING SHOWED UP!
So, I trashed pref's restarted same thing. Next I replaced the laserwriter ext., restarted, same thing again! Can anyone tell me were to find the icons that appear in the chooser that you originally click on the open a printer? Should I replace that too, or Will I have to re-install the printer software?
