Hi there: I tracked down a Mactell PowerJolt G3 for my C500 recently. It arrived today, and I actually managed to install it so that it seems to be doing what it's supposed to and I didn't short out the area code or weld my eyelids shut. Wow! What next, I wonder...a bigger HD, maybe, or a second PCI card to do something-or-other? Or more likely, a drink and a nap.
Actually, what's next is that on the xlr8yourmac page that has a reader review on how to do this, he mentions that the drivers will expire because the ones included on the floppy are beta and have an expiration date. Where would I get replacement drivers at this late date? Or will this even happen? How can I tell if the ones I got will expire or not? -- Bill Spencer in foliage-just-beginning-to-appear New Hampshire The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. -- Edmund Burke -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
