snipsFrom: ansberry <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sun, 28 Sep 2003 19:48:31 -0500 I tried to use the information from the July issue of MacAddict to make a "super vcd".
Do any of you know anything about using MissingMpegTools to make a "super vcd"? If it would help, I can type in all the lines of code that were in the box when it quit. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks- Mike
Mike, I do SVCD's all the time on my UMAX machine. So I know it can be done! I use Missing Mpeg Tools all the time to make bin/cue files for burning with Missing Media Burner. I've not user the encoder feature of this app which was just added recently. However I don't use iMovie and raw QT files. So can't really help you there. There are other Mac apps that may do the trick. Go to :
www.dvdrhelp.com
click on forums at the top then find Mac Video. You can do a search in the forum to see if your question has already been asked. If no answers go ahead and ask your question great group of helpful people and a few jerks ;-) who say things like why don't you buy a new machine since they don't know the answer! They are down today so I couldn't check for you. Should be back up soon site is down from time to time. I don't confuse people there with the UMAX info i just say I've got a G3 550 MHz and let it go at that. An app that may do the trick is FFmpegX :

It also has a forum on dvdrhelp.com
Video is a pain to learn but the machine works well once you sort out how to do it. best of luck. Will S
