Jeff - If you see this - any ideas on why Open Firmware can load software directly
off of certain IBM HDs and not others? How much firmware does a HD have on
it? Partitions and filesystems are identical (msdos/vfat), but OF will only load the
executable off of the older UW server drives. Works off of either internal bus, but
only with the UW drives.
Beats me. I haven't loaded OSX, nor learned Open Firmware yet. One of the OSX gurus such as Will S is much more likely to know.
