Dan,

Thanks for the suggestions but I checked each and every item. I still
get a error and fail to connect from #1 machine running OS X 10.2.6. I
tried finger in the Network utility and it gave me a message that the
connection was refused. I think this means my problems are with my #2
S-900 machine and something not being set right. Trouble is I have gone
through all the items and can not find anything yet.

 I am getting very frustrated since I never had these problems when I
was running 9.1 on both machines. It was a snap, all I did was open the
chooser and click on AppleShare and up came the other machine in the box
to the right. Clicked on that and got the password box entered the
password and bingo connected. 

If I try connecting from #2 machine to #1 I get a invalid user name or
password dialog message. I will kept trying.
