Hi,

since I had to deal with a SCSI-hard drive crash a couple of weeks ago on my
UMAX S900 (Sonnet G4 card, OS 9.1) I have trouble with SCSI CD-ROM that I
try to use on the internal or the external SCSI bus. My new hard drive is an
IDE that uses an Acard PCI adapter and that works fine. But as far as my
CD-ROM's go: I cannot boot, I cannot install software, the cpmputer crashes
if I put a CD in for bootup.

SCSI seems to be the worst spot in these Umaxes. What can I do?

Thanks, Andreas
