The Voodoo2 is a 3D-only accelerator; it requires another video system with a 2D core for full functionality. It's an ideal solution for people with Alchemy logic boards (6400/6500) since you can still use the built-in video capture/output hardware and have decent 3D performance. It's also good if you don't want to ditch your integrated graphics. I ran one in my 6500 for awhile, but when I went to install the S-Video/Composite out board, the Voodoo2 was too long and interfered with the TV-Out header on my logic board. In any case, it's an alright card and requires no flashing (no ROM to flash anyway), though you'll need to find the drivers.
