A SCSI printer would have the same issues as any other SCSI device: SCSI ID, termination, etc. Maria's is set up in an external SCSI chain, along with a Zip drive and a CD burner, and maybe something else.
I told her to check into getting a SCSI card for her evil PC.
A quick check of the ALPS web site indicates the 2300 can be connected to a Mac via SCSI or USB, and to a Windows machine via Parallel or USB. There seems to be a broad range of drivers available for Mac and Windows systems on their site. Is there some reason why she can not use Parallel or USB? A USB card would be a lot more useful than a SCSI card, and cheaper too, in my opinion.
should I steer toward goodness light and buying a used s900?
Buying a used s900 might be a good idea, but seems like overkill just so she can use a printer ;-)
