I have 2 in a 7500 > Where do I find the > power cable to connect > the four shiny steel pins on the side of the adapter > to the power supply, > or are they only for an external case's LVD > indicator? The power connector on the adapter SHOULD be 4 pins in a row in a socket that's rectangular with 2 corners "nipped" off so it only plugs in one way. That's what all of the adapters I've seen look like, anyway. This is the same connector you would use if you had a normal SCSI drive or CD drive of some kind. The S900 has a bunch of these inside, or at least mine does. It's also the power connector of choice for every Apple (including the 7300) I've ever looked inside, not counting laptops. All of the drive's power comes from this connection because there is no power connector on the drive itself. The motor won't spin up until you give it the juice it needs. As I said in my previous post though, using one as an internal device may require a terminator on the end of the data cable. I think it works better for some reason. Why don't you try it in an external case first. Termination is easier that way. At least you'd know if it was going to work that way.
