Jacques,
I purchased a Radeon 7000 DDR PCI from newegg.com. I
went through the entire procedure as outlined on that
site that you posted, flashing it from PC to Mac. I
was able to have moderate success with OS9, but
XPostFacto could not boot the S900 into OS X (10.2.8).
I tried every possible combination of slots for my
PCI cards, pulled all of them except the ATA card and
the Radeon card...no luck. I reset the CUDA, zapped
PRAM, nada.
Any ideas?
George

You got a picture in OS 9, right? Did you get one while trying to boot into X, or is the screen just black?
I don't know about XPostfacto 3, but in v. 2.5 you were able to choose the card in Open Firmware settings (output: ATY...something), that worked for me.
The card is happy in slot 1 and 2, the other slots didn't work for me, and I'd also remove any other graphics card for testing.

Good luck,

Chrisso
