I am planning on getting another hard drive for my S900. I am
trying to teach myself to work with digital video, and need more space.
I am unsure whether to go with an IDE drive, or a firewire drive. I
have an UltraTec VST 66 pci card to which I hook my IDE drives. I'm
running 9.1 and 10.2 from partitions on the existing IDE drive. I'm not
sure what kind of firewire card is in this machine.
I noticed in MacZone that you can get a Fantom Titanium 120 GB
firewire drive for $145. Acomdata has a 120 GB drive for about the same
price.
Are any of you familiar with these products? Do these companies
make a good product? Would I be better off with a firewire drive, or an
IDE drive on the PCI card?

Thanks
Mike
