Can't remember if I asked this before.
On DVD-R or +R discs, is it possible to extract the data once a video
footage is burned ?
Let's say older home videos are transferred to a DVD discs and I want to
use the data for burning edited discs ?
Thanks,
Alan
Yes is the short answer to your question :-) There is more then one way to do this. There is also more available free software for OSX then OS 9.x . I don't remember if you use OSX or OS9. I'm short on time so will send you to the experts on this subject.

click on forums at the top and look for the Mac Video forum. Use the search feature to find answers to your question. If you want to post a question you will need to sign up . It's easy and free. Great group of helpful people but several get a little bent out of shape when newbies ask questions which have already been answered many times and that can easily found with the search feature. Much of the needed software will be located on this site or will have links to the software and most of it is free or shareware. Will S
