The main thing is as long as I know the data can be extracted from DVD-R/+R
discs for either moving data around or re-editing video, I can proceed with
the transfer of the stack of Regular 8 and Hi-8mm tapes to DVD discs.
Home DVD recorders are becoming more affordable so I'm looking at one of
those instead of trying to rig up the s900 for capture.
At some point I will upgrade to a modern Mac for video, etc. for re-editing
the discs.
