Heh. A recent eBay offering of mine was a Mac 7200 with an 8500 motherboard
in it. I was pleasantly surprised it fit. Identifying itself as a 7500/7600
in the System Profiler, it was quite quicker. It benefitted from the ability
to use a replaceable daughter card.

To keep this message on thread, My Umax 500 died and after sitting outside
for some Winter months, decided to "reanimate". I rewarded it with a CPU
upgrade from the 160Mhz. stock to a 240Mhz. one from a 600.

Uncorked headers and street racing at it's finest. I once owned a 1940 Ford
Coupe that was hot rodded. Corvette yellow, black interior and a Pontiac 360
V8 with "Tri Power". Vroom Vroom. No speeding tickets.... =^)

I tipped my hat to Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, and Wally Moon in the auction.
Some of MY heroes of the Hot Rod era.
